1. obstacle
definition: An obstacle is anything that is blocking your way.
sentence: We all have obstacles in life to get where we want to go.

2. allowance
definition: Money that you get regularly at a certain time.
definition: Money that one gets from your parents every week
sentence: Jason gets allowance each week if he does his chores.
sentence: Lisa consumed her weekly allowance of 2 cheeseburgers.

3. decrease
defintion: Something becoming less or smaller.
sentence: Jason's father told him that he better do all his chores or he will decrease his allowance.
sentence: Decrease the speed of the car or you may crash.

4. increase
definition: Something becoming more or greater.
sentence: Jason's father increased his allowance when he helped more around the house.
sentence: Debbie increased the speed of the car because she was late for work.
sentence: The classroom temperature was very cold, so Carlos asked the teacher to increase the heat.

5. impatient
definition: anxious or restless
defnition: not wanting to wait and sit calmly
sentence: Josephine was impatient when she kept asking to get on the computer.
sentence: The students were getting impatient when the teacher told them that they had to wait before they could eat. They were all very hungry.

6. patient
defintion: waiting calmly for something to happen
sentence: The teacher wishes the kids would be patient than impatient.
sentence: Jackson was patient when he was waiting for his test scores.

7. destination
definition: The place that you are going to.
sentence: This weekend Cindy's destination is San Francisco.
sentence: When I arrived at my destination, I realized I went to the wrong place.

8. text
definition: words and sentences
sentence: The text in the story was quite interesting and colorful.
sentnece: The text was too difficult to read for a third grader.

9. participation / participating
definition: to be a part of something
definition: to be involved with it
sentence: Varoujan is always participating in class by answering questions and asking them.
sentence: Zarouhe should participate in class more often.
sentence Janet joined a group that participated in helping the elderly.

10. deliver
definition: to bring something to somebody
sentence: I need to deliver a package to my friend.
sentence: Jason will deliver two thousand balloons to a customer.
sentence: We had pizza delivered to our house on sunday.
