Dobla vs. Doble (informal vs. formal)

Familiar Imperative / Informal Imperative (tú form)
In most cases, use the 3rd person present indicative
Informal Imperative, (tú form)
if you want to tell a friend:
stop: para!
sit down: siéntate!
and for your question, continue: sigue!
and turn around: dobla!

Formal imperative (Usted form)
Use the subjunctive form:
stop would be: pare!
sit down: siéntese!
and continue: siga!
and turn around: doble

dobla/doble which comes from Doblar, meaning to fold or double.

Ella dobla su ropa.
She folds her clothes.

Dobla su ropa ahora.
Fold your clothes now.

Doble is the polite singular command for continue, also it is used in wishful thinking.

Doble el papel por favor.
Please fold the paper. (formal)

Espero que el dinero doble.
I hope the money doubles.
