1.   Yo no tengo la pelota. - I don't have the ball.

2.   Yo no tengo un piano. - I don't have a piano.

3.  Yo tengo hambre. - I have hunger. (I am hungry.)

4.  Yo tengo miedo. - I have fear. (I am scared.)

5.   Yo tengo sed.  - I have thirst. (I am thirsty.)

6.   Yo tengo una bicicleta.  - I have a bicycle.

7.   Yo tengo una guitarra. - I have a guitar.

8.   Yo tengo una radio. - I have a radio.

9.   Yo tengo un balón. - I have a ball.

I use the word "pelota" for ball, but "balón" is another word for ball. "baloncesto - basketball" "baloncesto" has the word "balón" in it, but there is no accent mark on the /o/. 

10.   Yo tengo un caballito. - I have a pony.

11.   Yo tengo un gato. - I have a cat.
